The English Want Coup Dur is the group's debut EP, bringing together eight tracks written between February and April 2025, then recorded and mixed in just two days by Rafael "Tuff Guac" Valles Hilario in Antwerp. A founding gesture, concise and carried out in urgency, in keeping with the music it produces: direct, spontaneous, with no detours or excess. Coup Dur lays out its aspirations, its frustrations and the daily lives of its members with blunt irony, sometimes tempered by a kind of tenderness. The EP's title echoes the amusement, and the surprise, of the group at seeing this debut record released on an English label, Precious Recordings of London.
