Neroli

Neroli « Twenty Something »

Assia and Lyna Takkal, the Belgian-Moroccan sisters from Brussels, present their debut album ‘Twenty Something’, which traces the life and musical journey of these two young women who have been singing together since their early days watching Disney movies.

They blend their visions of folk, pop and rock, spicing them up with the delightful vocal harmonies that are Neroli’s trademark.

couple of reviews :

“In Belgium Neroli already has a unique profile because we already have to move to the United States to find duos and trios that can successfully start working with clapping harmonies. The light-footed dreampop with guitars that we hear on their album 'Twenty Something' makes us happy and music is all about emotions. Point made Neroli!” Hans Vermeulen, https://luminousdash.be

“Their influences? Haim, Feist, The Lumineers, Faye Webster, ...

A fine musical lineage, and you can hear it. Simple in form, complex and sensitive at heart. That’s exactly what makes Neroli so endearing. »
